One of ETAPCharterLease's goals is to provide the opportunity for Members and non-Members to experience Ocean sailing. If you have always had the feeling that someday you would want to sail beyond the horizon or are getting tired of sailing around the same buoys, then perhaps one of our delivery passages would be of interest to you. Our 37s, "Just Us", is our Ocean crossing yacht, her maiden voyage was a TransAt from The Netherlands to Newport, RI in the spring of 2005. She will be making a number of offshore passages in the coming year. "Just Us" is rated CE class A or “all oceans” and is set up for ocean work. She carries a storm staysail, MOB location equipment, EPIRB, a complete electronic navigation package and VHF radio and Sat phone communications.
In addition to it's popular bi-annual North/Sound Passage, we have started a "Mini-Passage" program for those sailors who would like to experience some Ocean sailing but are not quite ready for an extended Ocean trip. Just Us, our ocean-going ETAP 37, is making a number of short, round trips from our SW Florida location in Punta Gorda to Key West and the Dry Tortugas.
